On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the development of functional agriculture, a special research team led by Jiang Haihe, counselor of the Anhui Provincial Government, former vice president of the Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, former vice president, researcher, and doctoral supervisor of the University of Science and Technology of China, went to Hefei, Shitai, Shucheng and other places for research. On August 14, 2020, the research team went to Shitai County to investigate the development of selenium-rich industries and functional agriculture, and attended the "Shitai Selenium Industry Development Research Meeting" held by Shitai County Deputy Mayor Gu Jianhua and relevant department heads, listened to the development of Shitai County's selenium industry and the problems, opinions and suggestions in the development of the selenium industry, and held a discussion. The research team visited the "Selenium Science Museum" of Anhui Zhongzhi Group in Shitai County.
